There are twelve Classes (or Occupations) in the world of Elder Tale. However, each server has some localized classes based on their own culture that replace one of the original classes. The number of localized classes varies per server. All of them fall within the same categories, though: Warrior, Weapon, Healer, or Mage.

While classes cannot be changed once selected, subclasses can be changed as long as the requirements are met.
